Field Level, Action and Data Security addition to NAV Easy Security was released in July 2011.

Easy Security Light is delivered free of charge from Mergetool.com and Microsoft. The product was released in March 2012 for all versions of NAV 2.60 and later.

Release of new NAV versions from Microsoft is followed by release (when technically possible) of Mergetool.com products supporting the new version less than 30 days after Microsoft's official release date. We do not expect to discontinue a version of our software, we are still shipping NAV 2.6 version of our NAV Easy Security solution.

We are selling our products 100% through NAV resellers. When the reseller agree is Mergetool.com able to deliver services and support directly to the customer at our normal rate.

Per Mogensen is the founder of Mergetool.com and the lead developer of NAV Easy Security and the Mergetool.

Per has worked with NAV since 1992, where he, after finishing his master degree in engineering, started working at Navision in Denmark. Here, Per developed several of the basic features in NAV like posting setup, VAT/Sales Tax, distribution functionality and was responsible for the localizations for several European countries.

Diff Merge Tool For Mac

Since 2012 to 2017 , Per has been awarded the MVP status for Dynamics NAV for his contributions to the NAV community.

The following may be more to your liking. I am assuming your 'main Mac id' is the admin account.

1. From your main account open finder and locate the user account for your pc files. (Macintosh HD/users/pcfiles)
2. Right or control click on that folder and select Get Info.
3. Under sharing and permissions click on the lock icon to unlock permissions. Give admin password when asked.
4. Once unlocked, click on the + button and add your main id to the user names
5. Set your permissions to Read & Write.
6. Click on the gear icon and make your main id the 'owner' of the folder.
7. Click on the gear again and apply to enclosed items.
8. Click on the lock icon to re-lock the folder.

Your main id now owns the pc files. You should be able to move files or folders to your main id file structure (no need to copy) or just access them as is. You could import directly into iTunes or iPhoto etc.
